Our personal trainers are wellness experts with credentials, training, and experience far beyond current industry standards. GWC trainers continually strive to develop and improve, providing our members with the finest multidimensional exercise options available. Private instruction is available in 30- and 60-minute sessions with package options. Duo training is available in 60-minute sessions with package options.

Pam Campbell, Fitness Director and Personal Trainer at GWC, has been in the industry since 1990. Pam started out teaching at UMASS Amherst and soon became the head of the group fitness department at UMASS for 3 years. Pam worked in NYC at NBC, working with TV personalities and such. Her specialties include: decreasing body fat and increasing strength and stamina in her clients. Pam has experience in working with rehab clients and special needs. In the past 17 years, Pam has changed her body drastically. She has lost 30 lbs and reduced her body fat 5% thru strength and interval training, boxing, and running. Pam has a degree from UMASS Amherst in exercise science and sport management, and holds certifications in NASM, Reebok Spin, Apex Nutrition, and Kettlebell.

Bobby Bevilacqua, Personal Trainer, is one of the GWC head trainers. He specializes in boxing and has been practicing the sport for over 8 years.
His combination of boxing and strength training knowledge can get fast results with great dedication. Bobby has a degree from Southern CT State University in Public Health and minor in Nutrition. He played football for four years and is a true competitive athlete. Bobby stays in excellent shape thru boxing, krav maga, and weight training. He is certified by AFI and is currently working towards a NASM certification this summer.

Sharon Sweeney, Personal Trainer, has been training since 1999. Sharon specializes in weight training, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility/strengthening, balance, mat pilates and osteoporosis prevention. She enjoys designing fun personal fitness programs so clients can achieve "results that last".Sharon is a certified with ACE (American Council on Exercise), NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), Pilates Flexibility and CPR (Red Cross).

Nate Medina, Personal trainer with seven years experience,
specializing in strength & conditioning, sport specific training, core & balance, youth sports, and functional training. Nate has worked with people from all fitness levels including complete beginners to collegiate and semi-pro athletes.
Nate believes that fitness must be incorporated into daily life and is committed to ensuring that clients not only meet, but exceed their goals. Nate is NASM and CPR certified.

Lauren Hinnershitz, ACE certified Personal Trainer, is the newest member of the GWC training team. Lauren has six years of experience in both corporate and personal fitness. On the corporate side, Lauren has managed on-site programs and facilities and has trained many high level executives at Fortune 500 companies, including Pepsi, Air Products, Pitney Bowes, and Reader's Digest. Lauren works with individuals on highly customized programs.
Lauren has a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, with a focus in Exercise Science, from the Pennsylvania State University. She holds additional certifications as an AFAA Group Exercise Instructor, Star 2 Spinning Instructor and Peak Pilates Basic Mat Instructor.
Lauren's goals are to help people "find the fun" in exercising and to promote positive lifestyle changes for long-term health. |

Chris Gradilone, Personal trainer for the past three years, and Army soldier for two, Chris believes in a theory of "lifting for life" which is designed to increase ability to perform anything from daily tasks to strenuous labor; being "functionally fit."
Chris also specializes in strength conditioning, mixed martial arts, military style calisthenics and sport specific training. He believes anyone can reach their goals, it's just a matter of finding the right trails to the top. He is currently attending Sacred Heart University majoring in Criminal Justice with minors in both Exercise and Military Science, and has participated in a 6 month physical rehabilitation internship. On free time he stays in shape though the Army, and by weight training, krav maga, hiking and other outdoor activities. |
