Mary Gocke is a registered dietitian and nutritional counselor on staff at the Center for Integrative Medicine. Her emphasis is on functional and medicinal foods, vitamins and mineral supplementation, plant based diets and nutritional therapy in managing bowel, autoimmune and hormonal disorders. She works with women, men and children to develop personalized assessments of their needs and goals. Mary's clients have ranged from those with specific medical conditions, such as Celiac Disease, to people whose health is generally good but want to understand how improving their food choices can make them feel better, physically and emotionally. She has worked professionally with physicians as an important adjunct to their practices. Mary received a bachelor's degree in human
nutrition and food science at the University of Florida and an internship in nutrition at Cornell-New York Hospital. She practices yoga daily and has taught it locally for years.
