Summer Programs

Greenwich Education and Prep is proud to offer a variety of academic and enrichment programs for your child this summer. Our commitment to fostering a love of learning in all students extends throughout the summer months, when children have more time to pursue extracurricular interests and to reinforce the hard work they did during the school year.  Not only can students combat the “learning gap” at GEP, but they also have the opportunity to study areas that nurture their intellectual passion. As always, our programs are student-centered, individualized, and flexible. We offer courses for students of all ages and abilities, and work with families to ensure success for all of our students.

We offer summer classes in several different forms. Mini Camps for elementary and middle school aged children, along with Intensive Creative Courses for high school students, are week-long investigations in engaging topics.  Enrichment Courses meet weekly and can be attended on a week-by-week basis, or for the entire eight-week session.  Just as during the school year, our One-on-One Academic Services provide students with individualized programs of study in any area of interest, including AP, elective, and portfolio courses.  Some of our most popular Enrichment Courses include: Transition and Study Skills, Middle School Summer Book Club, Writer's Workshop, and SAT Prep. In addition, our non-traditional mini-camps range from Junior Engineers for younger students to Performing Arts & Design for older students. Most of our programs are available in both our Greenwich and New Canaan locations. Our directors are always willing to expand our program offerings; if your child has a specialized area of interest, we can accommodate his or her needs with an individualized program.

Academic Tutoring
By working one-on-one with our students, our expert tutors become their partners in learning.  With over 60 certified teachers and subject-area specialists, we are confident that we will be able to meet your child’s distinct needs. Increased comfort with and mastery of the subject matter, a sense of accomplishment, and increased self-esteem as a learner—these are only a few of the benefits of working with Greenwich Ed and Prep’s tutors. We offer private academic tutoring in almost every subject.

Our approach varies by age group. For younger students, we employ educators who are familiar with local curricula and are able to leverage our vast library of resources. Our older students often benefit more from working with subject area specialists who bring real world practicality to a given subject and who generally provide a more intuitive approach to complex problems.

We record tutoring reports after every session with our students and email them to you in order to keep you informed.

Test Prep

Let Greenwich Education and Prep help your child do his or her very best on their private school admissions tests. The goal of our test preparation programs is to maximize students' familiarity with a given test's structure, question design, and content, a proven strategy in minimizing anxiety and boosting performance.

All test prep is delivered by educational professionals with certification and/or advanced degrees in their fields. With a teaching approach that can encompass classroom instruction, one-on-one tutoring, and proctored practice exams, our instructors are exceptional at preparing students to get the highest score possible. Instructors and students are partners in an extraordinary process that is designed to ensure outstanding results.
