Greenwich Water Club offers the PADI Open Water Scuba Diving course for your first step into the exciting underwater world. This course will provide you with knowledge and skills to enjoy recreational diving all over the world. You will be trained by a Master Instructor with 30 years of experience, having certified over 850 students and his staff of IDC Staff Instructors & Dive Masters. Wet suits and lead weights are included for all pool sessions at no charge.
The time is divided between classroom instruction in the theory of diving and adapting to the underwater world and pool sessions where you will learn the skills to dive. You should have the ability to swim 200 yards unassisted and tread water for 10 minutes.
Instruction, books (course and logbook), use of tanks, regulators, BCD, (buoyancy compensator device), weights and wetsuit during the 6 training sessions will be supplied. Personal equipment needed (masks, fins and snorkel) will be reviewed in the 1st class.
All classes are limited to eight people.
Adult classes are 3 hours long. Participants have to bring bathing suits and towels to all classes. |
