FITNESS CLASSES ARE CAPPED AT 18 PER CLASS, AND A MINIMUM OF TWO PARTICIPANTS PER CLASS IS REQUIRED. RESERVATIONS ACCEPTED 1-7 DAYS IN ADVANCE OF CLASS. THERE WILL BE NO ADMITTANCE BEYOND 10 MINUTES FROM CLASS START.
GWC has retained the services of Kaia Yoga to manage our yoga program. Kaia’s years of experience and well trained staff are able to provide GWC members a well balanced yoga environment. The many types and levels of classes available make yoga accessible to everyone, from beginners to seasoned yogis. Ashtanga Yoga

Back Arms Chest & Core strengthening exercises will compliment the cycling class before it! This is a workout that focuses on strengthening the upper body and core/abdominal muscles.
Barr
Learn the benefits of utilizing a ballet barre to streamline body alignment and fortify form. Surrounded by mirrors, you’ll see how this highly effective method creates long, lean muscles and increased vitality.
Body Sculpt
It is a class using light to medium weights depending on your fitness level and goals. The class format will work the total body.
Boxing
Is a circuit of boxing specific workouts, learning punch combinations, interval and strength training exercises as well as a fun and different way to get into fighting shape.
Boot Camp
This class travels from one exercise to another optimizing your physical strength and challenging your cardio level.
Cardio Sculpt
Cardio Scuplt is a fast-moving sculpt class using weights and your own body as a weight. You are getting your heart level high and keeping it there for intervals.
Circuit Training
Enjoy this method of physical conditioning, traveling from one form of exercise to another while optimizing your physical strength.
Circuit Cycling Combo
Strength training with varied resistance-training techniques and equipment including weights, bands, stability, medicine, and exercise balls. You'll enjoy this method of physical conditioning to improve muscular strength and definition, while you travel from one form of exercise to an other... ending the class with 30 minutes of Spin.

Cycling
Our upper loft area is staged with fixed bikes, where you will burn hundreds of calories during our non-impact aerobic classes in sync with motivating music selections.
Floor Training
Floor Training is for beginners to learn the basics of training and understand progression of exercises. This class will help learn the basics for strength training in the main fitness floor.
Gentle Yoga
Gently immerse yourself in this soothing yoga class. The class emphasizes asana (posture) mechanics, breath and inner awareness. Beginners and seasoned practitioners will leave feeling a sense of freedom and connection to spirit.
Intro to Boxing

Intro to Yoga
Intro to Yoga provides beginning yoga students with a solid foundation for a lifetime of yoga practice. This class will include yoga instruction in the fundamentals of alignment, basic poses, stretching and strengthening exercises, breathing, and relaxation techniques.
Interval Strength
Interval Strength is held in the fitness center on the equipment. The class incorporates cardio intervals with strength training. The level of fitness for this class is intermediate to advanced.
Mat Pilates
Tone and trim your body in our lovely waterfront studio while working your core abdominal and back muscles. This class will strengthen your postural integrity and enhance trunk stability.
Metabolic Blast
Class held in the fitness center on the equipment, incorporating cardio intervals with strength training. The level of fitness for this class is intermediate to advanced.
Pilates Sculpt
Is a deep core conditioning Pilates mat class using three pound balls. It will both stretch and strengthen arms, legs and abdominal muscle areas, working out every muscle group of the body.
TBC
TBC (Total Body Conditioning) is for beginners to intermediate participants. The classes will geared for working hard with in the intensity of the group. Be ready to
be pushed in a safe and effective manner.
Total Challenge I
An intermediate intensity of upper body combined with cardio and core.
Total Challenge II
An intermediate intensity of lower body combined with cardio and core.
Vinyasa Yoga
This in an energizing style of practice that links breath with yoga postures in creative and dynamic sequences. Classes are soulful and sweaty, playful and energizing yet restorative and rejuvenating! *practiced in a warm room. Open to all levels. While this is a more vigorous style, new students simply start where they are and build a foundation with each class!
Zumba
Zumba is a fusion of Latin, International and popular music / dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system. The routines feature aerobic / fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body with easy to follow steps. (No previous dance experience necessary.)
Zumba Toning
Combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and energy-infused cardio with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness party. Target arms, core, glutes and thighs with music and fun shaking that will make you lose yourself, come see why people are getting great results with Zumba Toning! |
